Victory Bible Churches International (VBCI) have held church services in its over two hundred and sixty (260) branches around the World to celebrate the 41st anniversary of the church.
The grand service was held at the headquarters branch, Dominion Sanctuary, located in Awoshie, a suburb of Accra on Sunday, 7 June 2026, under the distinguished leadership of the Presiding Bishop of the church, Rt. Rev. N.A. Tackie – Yarboi.
Stepping Forward in Faith
In his anniversary statement which was read in everyone of the branches of the church, Bishop Tackie-Yarboi indicated that all members of the church in Ghana, Europe, North America, Dubai and other global outposts ought to reflect on God’s faithfulness and to celebrate his goodness while stepping forward in faith for what lies ahead of the ministry.

“Forty-one years ago, God planted a seed; Today, that seed has grown into a global family, with branches lighting up cities across continents. It is only the Lord who could have done this. We thank God for the grace to obey; the courage to pursue; and the endurance, and refusal to compromise or give up, even when we were uncertain. “This is the Lord’s doing, marvelous in our sight.” (Psalm118:23)
“God has sustained us to remain focused on our mandate to “Raise the Foundations of Many Generations”. With our Sanctuaries across the globe, we have ministers, members and teaming youth who have been impacted with the Gospel through our Ministry. Yet we recognize there is still more to accomplish,” Bishop Tackie – Yarboi’s message to the church read.
“As we celebrate this feat, we remind ourselves that we are the light of the world. In a time when competing philosophies seek to distort God’s truth, the Church must present the Gospel clearly and boldly as the answer the world needs, the Message of the revered clergyman, Bishop Tarkie-Yarboi further read
Three-Point Agenda
In the statement, Bishop Tackie – Yarboi observed that VBCI going forward, is going to be motivated by a three-point agenda to propel the ministry to achieve her overarching vision of Raising the Foundations of Many Generations.” The three commitments the church makes before God are to;
First, maintain God’s standard. “In a world that keeps shifting its morals, God’s Word has taught us through our 41 years walk with Him that His Word never changes He is steadfast and faithful. We therefore have a responsibility to uphold holiness, integrity, and biblical truth in our personal lives’ families, and ministries. No matter where we are–Accra, London Toronto, or Dubai–we must not lower the standard to fit any culture. The culture must bow to the Word.”
Second, “we will reach the lost world with the message of salvation. The burden for souls remains the same: “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel (Mark 16: 15). From the streets of our local communities to the boardrooms and campuses abroad, we will carry Christ boldly. We will use every platform–pulpit, social media, marketplace, and everyday conversation–to call men and women back to Jesus. Souls are our priority and we will not grow weary in seeking them.”
Third, “we will raise the Next generation to be committed, devoted and relevant. Our mandate and task are to “Raise the Foundations of many generations’ (Isaiah 58:12). This simply means to equip, build and fortify the spirit, soul and body of the next generation of leaders to love God deeply, serve Him excellently and manifest His power in the marketplace.

“Our young people must be educated, skilled, and balanced – rooted in the Word and equipped with professional competence. Then they will be doctors engineers, entrepreneurs, teachers, creatives and leaders who carry Kingdom values into every sector. They will prove that you can be Spirit- filled and world-class at the same time.”
Intentionality
To achieve these three God given mission, Bishop Tackie-Yarboi noted that there is the need for “intentionality in everything we [VBCI] do – from winning souls, equipping them to find their God-given gifts and fulfilling them.
“We must earnestly seek God so that He will open our eyes to see! To know His ways, have clarity of vision and purpose and see opportunities Let us raise more leaders, plant more churches, and win more souls for the Kingdom,” Tackie – Yarboi urged the church.
“While we engage in schools, hospitals, orphanages, and other social services, our primary mandate remains soul winning, Church planting, and leadership development. With life, strength, and grace, we will labour together to make God’s commission our priority,” the Presiding Bishop proclaimed in his message to the church.
“As we enter into this new season, let us stand together in obedience to the charge. The work is not done. The world is still lost, and the harvest is still plenty. But with God’s help, we will go further, reach wider, and rise higher than the last 41 years.
“May God’s presence continue to lead us, and may we remain faithful to His call. Happy 41st Anniversary to the Victory Commission and all of us, The Lord Bless us all. See you at the top – because that’s where you belong,” Bishop Tackie – Yarboi’s message to his congregation concluded.
