The CenBA Graduate Institute, in collaboration with the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, has officially launched the 2025 edition of the CenBA Africa Business Excellence Awards in Kumasi.
The event took place on Monday, 24 November, at the Cocobod Jubilee House at Adum, marking the seventh edition of an awards scheme dedicated to celebrating innovation, growth, and exemplary corporate leadership across Africa.
Board Chairman
Chairman of the CenBA Board, Emmanuel Fosu Kwarteng, underscored the significance of recognising businesses that continue to demonstrate resilience in a rapidly evolving economic environment. He said the partnership with the Otumfuo Foundation reflects a shared commitment to promoting excellence and ethical business practices.
“We saw it appropriate to partner with the Foundation so that our collective goal of promoting individual excellence and societal advancement could be achieved. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is a big brand that seeks the welfare of humanity and society, and this partnership strengthens our commitment to raising the bar of excellence,” he noted.
Traditional leaders
The launch was also graced by traditional leaders, including the Chief of Feyiase, Nana Addae Gyamera (Feyiase Hene), who lauded the organisers for linking business excellence with social impact and national development.
He emphasised the transformative role of education in shaping society.
“Education is always the key. We have to educate our citizens about our history without fear or favour. How you interpret history can only be done through education,” the Feyiasehene stated.

The 2025 CenBA Africa Business Excellence Awards will feature a seminar on 18 December, followed by the main awards ceremony on 19 December.
