Tottenham Hotspur endured a night of disappointment and fan fury on Saturday, November 29, 2025, as they fell 2-1 to local rivals Fulham in a chaotic Premier League clash.

The defeat, secured by two catastrophic defensive errors in the opening six minutes, overshadowed a moment of individual brilliance from Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus.

The result plunges the Spurs into the congested mid-table, now sitting precariously at 10th place—just a single point ahead of 15th-placed Fulham—and raises serious questions about the team’s defensive discipline under pressure.

The atmosphere at the 62,850-capacity Tottenham Hotspur Stadium turned toxic within the first phase of play as Fulham executed an explosive, clinical assault that left Spurs reeling.

Fulham’s right-back, Kenny Tete, opened the scoring with a rare goal in the 3rd minute, smashing a deflected strike from the edge of the box past the shell-shocked Spurs defence.

The goal marked Tete’s first strike for Fulham in nearly two years, symbolising the visitor’s unexpected efficiency.

Moments later, in the 6th minute, the situation worsened dramatically as Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario’s error cost his side.

He attempted to rush out of his area and lost possession, an error deemed unacceptable at this level.

Vicario could only watch as Harry Wilson curled the ball into an empty net from 35 yards, doubling Fulham’s lead and leaving the home crowd in stunned silence.

Tottenham struggled to regain composure throughout the first half and were fortunate to escape further damage when Samuel Chukwueze struck the post, a moment that could have put the game statistically beyond reach before the interval.

Returning to the pitch with clear urgency, the Spurs attack finally found its rhythm, largely through the efforts of their Ghanaian star Kudus.

Mohammed Kudus provided the hosts’ only moment of quality, clawing a goal back with a superb volley into the top corner. This strike injected hope into the flagging comeback attempt.

The goal marked Kudus’s second Premier League goal of the season since his summer transfer from West Ham.

Despite the late pressure from Thomas Frank’s side, the equaliser never materialised.

The defeat confirms that the team’s defensive fragility continues to undermine Kudus’s significant offensive output.

The 25-year-old has now registered an impressive seven goal contributions (two goals, five assists) for Tottenham since joining in the summer transfer window, making him one of the team’s most potent attackers.

The match ended with the familiar sound of frustration, as the home crowd expressed their displeasure with boos at full-time, confirming the severity of the upset.
