Paris Saint-Germain have been ordered by a French labour court to pay Kylian Mbappe €60m (£52.6m).

The 26-year-old forward – who played for the club between 2017 and 2024 – took the Ligue 1 club to court over earnings he said were withheld from April to June last year.

It was found that PSG failed to pay Mbappe’s salary for three months, as well as two separate bonuses, and that there was no written agreement under which Mbappe waived his entitlement.

Frederique Cassereau, Mbappe’s lawyer, said: “We are satisfied with the ruling. This is what you could expect when salaries went unpaid.”
