Renowned gospel musician Ruth Adjei has been named Female Vocalist of the Year at the just-ended Praise Achievement Awards, reinforcing her status as one of the most outstanding voices in Ghana’s gospel music scene.

The honour recognises her exceptional vocal delivery, consistency, and significant impact through gospel music over the past year.

Her soul-stirring performances and inspirational songs have resonated deeply with audiences, earning her admiration from fans and industry stakeholders alike.

Speaking after receiving the award, Ruth Adjei expressed heartfelt gratitude to God, her team, and her loyal supporters for believing in her ministry and music.

She described the recognition as a strong motivation to continue using her voice to inspire hope, strengthen faith, and lead people in worship.

She also acknowledged the organisers of the Praise Achievement Awards and the CEO of Praise TV, Dennis Anderson, for the honour.

The Praise Achievement Awards celebrate excellence in gospel music and Christian ministry, honouring artists, worship leaders, and industry players who have made meaningful contributions to spreading the gospel through music. In addition to the award, the gospel artist has released a brand-new, Spirit-inspired song featured on her fourth studio album, ‘My Hiding Place’.

The song includes a powerful verse delivered by her brother, Ps. Shadrach Mensah carries a deeply personal and spiritual story.

According to Ruth Adjei, the verse was birthed during an intense moment of prayer.

The new release follows the successful unveiling of her recent songs “Awurade Yɛ (Do It Lord)” and “Woyɛ Yesu (You Are Jesus)”.

The synergy of Ruth Adjei’s passionate delivery and graceful harmonies creates a compelling sound that resonates with both believers and music enthusiasts.

The track is one of the standout songs on ‘My Hiding Place’, an album that promises a powerful collection of worship and faith-lifting music.
