Former Vice President and 2024 NPP Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, joined hundreds of mourners at Senase near Berekum in the Bono Region to commiserate with the family of Yaw Obeng Manu, Editor of the Ghanaian Publisher, during the burial of his late father, Mr James Yaw Manu.

The solemn ceremony, held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Senase, drew family members, friends, and sympathisers from various parts of the country who gathered to celebrate the life of the late Mr Manu, who passed away at age 85 after a short illness.

Dr. Bawumia, who was in the Bono Region as part of his campaign activities for the NPP presidential primaries, took time off his schedule to attend the burial service and express his condolences to the bereaved family.
